For me, Knowledge Management is important because traditional management styles
have lead to short-sighted tactics and fractured decision making.
Organisations expand, but get stiffer and more arthritic as they grow.
Good Knowledge Management keeps the parts connected and flexible allowing
organisations to gain the strength of size without losing the flexibility and resiliencethey had during their infancy. In a marketplace of exponential change, this abilityto sense and respond quickly is fast becoming the hallmark of success.
